My name is Neha Wani and I am from Ahmedabad , Gujarat in India. I got married in the year 2001 to my husband and moved to Miami, Florida where we spent 17 years and then moved to Dallas, Tx. I have 3 lovely kids ( 2 boys and 1 girl) and 2 beautiful Golden Doodle Girls!!!!
In my family, we are all foodies and everyone enjoys different cuisines. We are all very health conscious and enjoy good quality ingredients which equals good quality food, which is not always easy to get outside. I grew up in a strict Vegetarian household and yet married my husband who enjoys eating Non Vegetarian food. I am for the most part a Vegetarian but I do enjoy eating some types of Fish which gives you good protein.
I have always enjoyed cooking but my passion really started when I realized how much my family enjoys both Veg and Non Veg dishes. As I had said, my family is a foodie who enjoy Chicken, Lamb, Fish, Pork, and when my family prefer to stay home vs going out, that gives me all the incentive to continue with my Passion for cooking.
I enjoy red wine quite a bit (Cabs) and the best part is enjoying a glass or 2 while cooking and being in a zone when you have many things cooking at the same time!!!!
I have never taken any formal classes for cooking, but when you get the approval from your family that itself is better than formal training. Well enjoy the recipes and keep coming back for new ones that I will be adding. Until then, Cheers and Happy Cooking!!!!
